Изменить Device ID WiFi карты

    Имеется ноутбук Lenovo u330p, в нем стоит Intel® Wireless-N 7260 + Bluetooth она никак не заводится под Mac OS, точнее Bluetooth работает, но не WiFi. Заменил на Broadcom BCM94322HM8L, естественно получил ошибку при загрузке ноутбука из-за WhiteList. Пропатчить BIOS нет возможности так как не существует файла bios от производителя. Остается только подменить Device ID Broadcom BCM94322HM8L на Device ID моей Intel® Wireless-N 7260. Или на Device ID той карты которая есть в WhiteList Lenovo. Как это сделать на форуме поиски результатов не дали.

    Не чувак, не прокатит. Нужно только модифицировать BIOS. Тебе за модификацией BIOS'a лучше обратится сюда, а снять BIOS можно этой прогой через Windows. Ну и сюда BIOS тоже выложи мне, я тоже гляну.

    По умолчанию, ни один из них не заработает в OS X.

    А вот наличие Broadcom BCM943228HMB - это удачный знак.

    Ты можешь у своего Broadcom BCM94322HM8L перебить идентификаторы от BCM943228HMB из твоего "белого списка".
    Такая карта будет определяться биосом как родная, она заработает в OS X, после подставновки её новых идентификаторов в родные драйвера. Также заработает в Windows.


    Я такое делал не один раз для владельцев Lenovo...

    Так что всё осуществимо.
    Для достижения положительного результата, тебе нужно у Broadcom BCM94322HM8L поменять три идентификатора:
    DeviceID, SubVendorID, SubProductID.
    Сделать это можно под Linux, вот начальная точка с чего стоит начать изучение:

    Тренируйся, изучай и экспериментируй...

    VendorID - 0x14e4

    ProductID - (где его найти не имея самой карты BCM943228HMB?)

    Я обычно под Леново маскируюсь так:

    То есть:
    SubVendorID - 0x14e4
    SubProductID - 0x0607
    Эти данные проверены неоднократно на Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E530.
    На твоем ноутбуке, на 99% - я думаю что тоже подойдут...

    Более точно, на 100% можно будет сказать, если ты снимешь дамп со своего биоса, как предлагают выше. Я бы в нем тоже поковырялся...
    Кстати какая у тебя сейчас версия? 7CCN26WW или другая?

    Кстати, меня ещё вот один документ сбивает с толку, в нём совсем другой список поддерживаемых модулей:

    Запускаю на ноуте с установленной BCM94322HM8L, Ubuntu 14.04.
    WiFi карта определяется и работает, но подключаюсь я но кабелю.
    Ввожу в терминале последовательно это:

    sudo chmod 755 /usr/sbin/ssb-sprom
    sudo chown root:root /usr/sbin/ssb-sprom
    SSB_SPROM=$(find /sys/devices -name ssb_sprom)
    echo $SSB_SPROM
    
    (На этом этапе система не видит wifi карты, дальше уже бесполезно)
    
    cd ~
    sudo cat $SSB_SPROM > ssb_sprom_copy
    ssb-sprom -i ssb_sprom_copy -P
    ssb-sprom -i ssb_sprom_copy —subv 0x14e4 —subp 0x0607 -o new_ssb_sprom_copy
    ssb-sprom -i new_ssb_sprom_copy -P

    Попробовал на Ubuntu 12.10 и все получилось, все значения исправились, но ноут карту так и не принял

    Покажи ответ lspci после изменений, должно быть в точности как:

    как я в первом ответе говорил, поменять нужно три идентификатора: DeviceID, SubVendorID, SubProductID.

    Они все три поменяны?

    Device ID я меняю вручную.
    Доходишь до шага, где удачно отображается твой исправленный sprom:
    ssb-sprom -i new_ssb_sprom_copy -P
    в нём должны уже быть правильно подставленные оба Subsystem

    далее открываешь sprom текстовым редактором:
    sudo nano new_ssb_sprom_copy
    ищешь в нём в середине 2b43 и меняешь их на 5943 (байты тут наоборот)
    по Сtrl-X выходишь с сохранением.

    далее снова просмотр sprom
    ssb-sprom -i new_ssb_sprom_copy -P
    она выругается на неправильную контрольную сумму и подскажет, что мы имеем и что должно быть.

    второй раз открывай sprom тектовым
    sudo nano new_ssb_sprom_copy
    В конце последние два символа как раз и есть контрольная сумма, их нужно исправить, как советовали тебе в предыдущем пункте.
    по Сtrl-X выходишь с сохнанением.

    далее снова просмотр sprom
    ssb-sprom -i new_ssb_sprom_copy -P

    И если всё нормально, то заливаешь результат в карту через copy



    P.S.
    Несколько слов о запуске карты.

    Так как она с перебитыми идентификаторами, то OS X её не опознает.
    Для запуска нужно подставлять идентификаторы в родной драйвер
    Вот два простых способа на выбор:

    1. Подмена DeviceID средствами Сlover. Для этого нужно в конфиге активировать три параметра:
    ACPI -> DSDT -> Fixes -> AddDTGP_0001=Yes
    ACPI -> DSDT -> Fixes -> FixAirport_4000=Yes
    Devices -> FakeID -> WIFI=0x43a014e4

    2. Использование legacy
    Для этого достаточно установить этот кекст:

    Также назови полные идентификаторы твоей родной карты Wi-Fi, вместо которой ты ставишь Broadcom...

    Перед subv и перед subp - стоят какие-то левые символы (вместо короткой черточки - длинный дефис).
    Вот эти дефисы и не нравятся утилите ssb-sprom, она тебе и выбрасывает справку по командам для ознакомления...

    Черточки ставь такие-же, как и перед -i и -o. Вот так:

    Ноут какой? Lenovo G510 из подписи?

    Если да, то правильно что биос ругается. Так и должно было быть...
    Выше ведь указано, что эти данные для Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E530.

    Тебе они не должны были подойти, Broadcom BCM43228 никогда небыло в белом списке твоего ноутбука.
    Вот в специальной теме по Lenovo G510 я рассказывал, какие карты есть в белом списке:

    Для Lenovo G510 нужно делать подмену на Broadcom BCM43142.
    Вот что я подставлял в BCM94322HM8L:

    данные идентификаторы проверены двумя обладателями Lenovo G510 из темы по ссылке выше, для которых я делал Wi-Fi под белый список...

    P.S. Добавочка.
    Только что заметил, что у тебя родная карта как раз была Broadcom BCM43142. Вот на её ID тебе и нужно было целиться изначально...

    2. echo $SSB_SPROM - тут пусто
    хотя lcpci видит карту

    Вот тут уже не подскажу. Сам не сталкивался с обратной заменой...

    Видать нужно где-то в драйверах от SSB_SPROM добавить DeviceID=0x4359, который у твоей карты сейчас...

    эпично я затупил.

    строчка
    1. SSB_SPROM=$(find /sys/devices -name ssb_sprom)
    на сколько я понимаю, эта строчка ищет в каталоге /sys/devices файл с название ssb_sprom

    но кто этот файл там создает? модуль b43 после того как мы его подгрузили? (modprobe b43)

    P.S. на сколько я нагуглил. надо чтобы драйвер обнаружил устройство, потмо этот файл появится
